A section of Chelsea fans have singled out Kepa Arrizabalaga for blame, following their 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on Thursday night, January 5, at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues were keen to get their campaign back on track following their woeful run of results in the Premier League.
The Graham Potter-tutored side dropped points in their previous outing against relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest and were hoping to earn maximum points against City to boost their top-four chances.
However, the west Londoners went on to suffer defeat, with Riyad Mahrez's second-half goal enough to earn the reigning English champions a vital win.

Kepa blamed for Chelsea defeat
Some Chelsea fans now believe Kepa was responsible for their loss against Pep Guardiola's side after the Spaniard dropped a clanger to allow Mahrez to score.
Mahrez, who came on as a substitute, struck a perfect combination with Jack Grealish to hand City the lead in the 63rd minute.
Grealish slid a devastating first-time cross with his left foot to set up the Algerian winger for the opener, with Kepa weirdly deciding not to dive towards it.
Chelsea fans now believe the shot-stopper should have done enough to stop Grealish's cross.
One said:
"Kepa has been excellent for us this season, but I just don’t understand why he did this."
A second joked:
"Kepa selling us for Thirty pieces of Silver."

Mendy could be sold
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Senegalese goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has been offered by Chelsea to London rivals Tottenham, who are in search of a replacement for Hugo Lloris.
Mendy could find himself out of the club, as he is currently the second choice after losing the form that made him one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Tottenham are also looking at two other Premier League goalkeepers who are currently representing their country at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
