John Terry, Chelsea's most successful captain and one of Mourinho's most loyal players, has lifted the lid on the antics of the Special One.

Mourinho, who currently manages AS Roma in the Italian league, won trophies at all clubs he managed except Tottenham, who sacked him six days before a final which they eventually lost.

Mourinho stirred up London derbies

Terry, while working as a pundit for the World Cup on beIN Sports, spoke about Mourinho's antics in London derbies in a video shared on Twitter.

“If we were two or three goals up at half time against certain teams - Spurs being one of them - he’d say ‘go and kill them, go and make them suffer today, go score five, six,” Terry said.

Mourinho always played 'dirty'

Terry, who won three Premier League titles with Mourinho, said the Portuguese always wanted to win at all cost - not minding how.

The two-times Champions League winner with Porto and Inter Milan is famous for defending narrow leads by 'parking the bus'.

“Just win. He didn’t care about anything else, he did anything to get an edge. Remember, the rule was if we were 1-0 up and the ball got delivered into the box… if two defenders went up together and both went down on the floor after, you didn’t have to go off the field of play.” Terry further claimed.

Mourinho's antics worked, Chelsea hold the record for conceding the least goals in a season, with just 15 goals in 38 games in the 2004/05 season.

Dybala praises Mourinho's influence

Sports Brief earlier reported that Argentina forward Paulo Dybala has praised Mourinho for his influence on La Albiceleste's World Cup squad.

Dybala suffered an injury that was initially feared would rule him out of the World Cup, but recovered in time to be named in Lionel Scaloni's squad.

The player, who joined Roma on a free transfer after his contract at Juventus expired last summer, revealed that Mourinho called him every day.
