Graham Potter endured an embarrassing return to the Amex Stadium as his Chelsea side were picked apart ruthlessly by Brighton and Hove Albion.
A rampant Brighton raced to a 3-0 lead at halftime with goals from Leandro Trossard and own goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah.
Brighton were yet to win since Potter left to join Chelsea 7 weeks ago to replace the sacked Thomas Tuchel.
Potter, meanwhile, was yet to lose a game in all competitions as Chelsea's boss. It was also an embarrassing return for Marc Cucurella, who left to join Chelsea in a big-money move.

Brighton began on the front foot, with Thiago Silva called to action a couple of times with goal-line clearances. The Chelsea defence was finally breached after Japanese winger Kaoru Mitoma threaded a pass to Trossard, who scored his fifth goal under De Zerbi.
Loftus-Cheek then scored an own goal from corner before Trevoh Chalobah scored another own goal at the end of an electrifying counterattack from Brighton.

Sports Brief has also reported that Chelsea boss Graham Potter got a rude welcome on his first return to the Amex Stadium to face his former side, Brighton and Hove Albion. Potter ditched Brighton for Chelsea seven weeks ago to take over the vacant position left by Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked.
