Chelsea has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Brighton and Hove Albion manager Graham Potter as the replacement for Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel was shown the exit door on the back of a stuttering start to the season, which continued in a shock 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
Following the 49-year-old's sacking, the club's top brass, led by Todd Boehly, set their sights on Brighton boss Graham Potter.
The club received the green light to speak to Potter on Wednesday, September 7, and it appears the London-based outfit has reached a verbal agreement with the English tactician.

According to Sky Sports, Todd Boehly met Potter in central London on Wednesday afternoon for what was described as "positive talks" about the Brighton manager's future role at Stamford Bridge.
Transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano adds that Chelsea will complete the agreement with Brighton for the services of Graham Potter in the next hours.
