"I think that every team Antonio Conte trains is a title contender. It's always like this, in every country with every team," the Chelsea head coach explained as quoted on Football London
"They strengthened their squad, they strengthened in their depth, and they have a very demanding coach with an incredible record in domestic titles.

As a coach, Conte has had 16 years in the game, winning four Serie A titles including three with Juventus.

He also has a Premier League title under his belt which he won as Chelsea manager.

"He will push them to the limit and any team with this kind of quality management, which pushes players to the limit, can over-perform and fight for the top four. And if you fight for the top four, you fight for everything. If you're still in the race in March, you're fighting for everything. It's a long way to go and he will never admit it, but for me, an Antonio Conte team fights for everything."

Ten Hag speaks after Brentford humiliation

Elsewhere, Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag did not hold back in his criticism of the side after a 4-0 humbling at the hands of Brentford.

First-half goals from Josh Dasilva, Mathias Jensen, Ben Mee, and Bryan Mbuemo were enough to see off United as the Bees secured their first ever win over the Red Devils in 84 years.

Speaking after the humiliating defeat, United boss Ten Hag slammed his charges for the defeat, describing his side's performance as 'rubbish' and 'poor.'
