A Chelsea fan made an uncanny observation during the Blues’ game against Everton on Saturday, August 6.
Jorginho’s first half penalty was all Thomas Tuchel’s side needed to secure the win, in what was a largely scruffy opener between the two sides.
In truth, Chelsea were largely helped by the fact that Everton were playing without attacking power at Goodison Park, with the situation made worse by the injury to Ben Godfrey.
While Jorginho proved to be the match winner for his side, concerns were raised by hawk-eyed fans over the Italian’s ability to pick a decisive pass.

Concern was particularly raised over whether Raheem Sterling will be able to adapt to Tuchel’s tactics, and clip towards the end of the first half spoke volumes.
In the clip, Sterling made his trademark run in behind the defence when the ball was deep in midfield, but his run was in vain as there was no indication that Jorginho would attempt the long pass.
Sterling will be hoping to get off the mark for Chelsea when they play Tottenham Hotspur in the London derby on Sunday, August 14.
