Timo Werner has penned a heartwarming farewell message to the fanbase of Chelsea following his imminent return to RB Leipzig.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea and RB Leipzig have agreed on a fee of around £25million including add-ons for Werner, who will have a medical on Tuesday before the move is confirmed.
Werner swapped Leipzig for Chelsea for a fee of £47.5million back in 2020. His two-year spell with the Blues yielded 23 goals and set up a further 21 in 89 appearances.
Ahead of his soon-to-be confirmed return to Leipzig, the German forward penned a touching message to the fans of Chelsea in appreciation of their support in his two-year stint.

The Chelsea striker has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge and back to RB Leipzig.
