Cesc Fabregas’ career is poised to make an interesting turn as the Spaniard is reportedly on the verge of joining Serie B minnows Como on a free transfer.
The former Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona man is currently without a club after parting ways with Ligue 1 side Monaco at the end of last season.
As per recent reports, Fabregas was highly likely to join Las Palmas in Spain after discussions with the club president Miguel Angel Ramirez.
But fresh reports from Italy on Friday, July 15 now suggest Fabregas is more likely to join Como, who finished in 14th place in Serie B last season.

Another Italian side that was interested in Fabregas’ services was Leece, who will play in Serie A in 2022-23 after winning Serie B last season.
According to Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, as per The Sun, Fabregas will be a Como player in the coming days.
Dennis Wise, a former Chelsea and England midfielder who won seven trophies during his career is said to have a hand in the decision to convince Fabregas to make the odd move.
The last time Como featured in the Serie A was in the 2002/03 season.
Since then, the club has suffered two bankruptcies and were recently re-founded in 2017.
