Chelsea has confirmed Danish defender, Andreas Christensen alongside three other players has left the English Premier League club this summer.
Christensen has been one of Chelsea’s key defenders in recent seasons as he played a huge role as the Blues strolled to UEFA Champions League success in the 2020/21 season.
The Blues via its Twitter account thanked Andreas Christensen for his contributions to the success of the Blues as the defender enters the next phase of his career.
Christensen had been widely expected to depart the club after no progress in agreeing a new deal over the course of the season.
The 26-year-old defender is expected to join Spanish giants Barcelona following the expiration of his contract with Chelsea as the Blaugrana have finalized an agreement with the Danish international.
