Chelsea have been named as the 'Football Club with the Best Reputation' for 2021 by the World Sport Organisation, the club has announced.
The Stamford Bridge club enjoyed a highly successful year in 2021, having won the prestigious UEFA Champions League and Super Cup.
The awards ceremony is designed to “recognise clubs and players who have led the way, setting an example by promoting a better world, and raised awareness of the potential for sport to influence positive change in society”.
As revealed by Chelsea's website, the west London outfit have been named as the 'Football Club with the Best Reputation' for last year.

FootballThe winners were voted by people such as players, coaches and journalists, with the process being carried out in secret.
"The independent, non-profit World Sport Organisation encourages global co-operation to promote the positive influence professional sport, and in particular those who compete in it, can have on humanity.
"As part of that goal, they hold the annual Football Reputation Awards to recognise the clubs and players who have led the way, setting an example by promoting a better world, and raise awareness of the potential for sport to influence positive change in society.
"All three awards are judged across 10 categories, including how people set a positive example for society, promote peace, sustainability and healthy living and oppose discrimination, inequality and poverty."
Chelsea received 37 per cent of the votes in the club category and Marina Granovskaia accepted the award on behalf of the club.

Russian billionaire, Roman Abramovich had put Chelsea up for sale officially on March 2 after heavy backlash from the UK government amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
According to a report via the Daily Mirror, the deal has finally been approved after the government received legal guarantees that Roman Abramovich will not benefit from the sale.
