Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi has sparked rumours of Ghana switch after he was spotted jamming to legendary Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba's song.

The English-born winger has not played for the Three Lions in over a year now, and will be cleared to play for Ghana in November, right in time for the World Cup in Qatar.

In a video shared on social media by celebrity barber Nikky Okyere, he confirmed the London-born will be in the Ghana squad for the World Cup.

"Get ready people cos World Cup in Qatar is gonna be lit. Callum Hudson-Odoi is bringing some Ghanaian heat," Nikky Okyere captioned the video.

Callum Hudson-Odoi will be eligible to play for Ghana at the World Cup per the new rules, which states a player can make a switch within a period of two years without playing for his initial country.

The 21-year-old helped England win the U17 World Cup in 2017 and has played three games at the senior side.

Callum Hudson-Odoi set to decide on England future

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Callum Hudson-Odoi has stated emphatically that he is yet to make final decision on the country he will represent between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Three-Lions of England.

The Chelsea star has represented England at every youth level from U16 to U21 before making his first senior international appearance in 2019.

However, the 21-year-old is still eligible to play for another national team in full international level and Ghana are said to started speaking with the Chelsea star over switching allegiance.

Hudson-Odoi to receive Ghanaian passport

The senior men's national team, Black Stars, are on the cusp of receiving a major boost prior to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Long-term target Callum Hudson-Odoi has reportedly completed processes in acquiring his Ghanaian passport.

The English-born winger of Ghanaian parentage has dropped many hints of switching his allegiance to the West African nation following a series of snubs by England boss Gareth Southgate.
