Roman Abramovich has reportedly put Chelsea up for sale as pressure continues to mount on the Russian billionaire amid the crisis in Ukraine.
According to a report Give Me Sport, the 55-year-old is believed to be looking for a quick sale of the Blues and has slammed a £4 billion price tag on Chelsea.
The news comes after the Russian moved to step away from Chelsea following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine after handing stewardship of the club to the Trustees of the Chelsea Foundation.
Pressure has been mounting on Abramovich by Legislators in the UK for the billionaire’s assets to be seized since Russia declared war on Ukraine as many believe he is a strong ally to Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich has been declared a person of interest by the United Kingdom Parliament.
According to ESPN, opposition party leader, Labour's Sir Keir Starmer has called for sanctions against the Chelsea owner.
"Roman Abramovich is the owner of Chelsea Football Club and various other high-value assets in the United Kingdom,"
"He is a person of interest to the Home Office because of his links to the Russian state and his public association with corrupt activity and practices.”
Roman Abramovich has always denied any ties to the Putin regime but is now considering selling all his properties in the UK in case of government sanctions.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea are now on the verge of being sold after Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss confirmed that he has been approached by Roman Abramovich.
Roman Abramovich has been under serious criticism following Russia's attack on Ukraine and the situation forced him to hand over the control of the Blues to some people.
But despite his decision, there have been talks that Roman Abramovich should not be allowed to own any property in England due to the fact that he is a Russian.
