Thomas Tuchel who is the handler of Premier League side Chelsea has made it clear that he would love his wards to lose the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool if it would end Russia's war on Ukraine.
For the past few days, people of Ukraine have been living in fears and serious tensions following the attack launched on them by Russia in which many lives have been wasted.
Leaders around the world have been blaming Russian president Vladimir Putin for his action while some have urged him to cease fire on his attack on Ukraine.
Ahead of the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich who is a Russian gave up control of the Stamford Bridge club in a shock statement.
The Blues and Liverpool will be at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday evening, 27 February, to tackle in the Carabao Cup final which is expected to be tough.
According to the report on UK Sun and Football London, Thomas Tuchel explained that he would be happy to lose if the war would come to an end between Ukraine and Russia.

“As it’s so fresh, maybe the game comes with a bad conscience. Are we allowed to fully engage and fully celebrate? Is this appropriate? This is how I feel. What would it help now if we lose a football match?
"It will not help. If it would help, I am happy to lose the match. Suddenly we have a war in Europe. This is a horrible situation."

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how following the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, Russian businessman Roman Abramovich has handed the stewardship of Premier League side Chelsea to the club’s charitable foundation.
This comes after the British government was advised to seize all assets belonging to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, including Chelsea Football Club.
Labour MP Chris Bryant, in a statement during a House of Commons session, disclosed that he found a leaked document that says the entrepreneur should not be allowed to stay permanently in the UK.
It was gathered that the document showed that Abramovich, who bought the Stamford Bridge outfit in 2003 for £140 million was of interest to the government at that time.
