Argentina midfielder Alexis Mac Allister returned to Brighton a hero after winning the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup in his first major tournament with La Albiceleste.
He played six games in Qatar after sitting out the first game of the tournament, and was pivotal as Argentina went all the way, assisting Angel Di Maria for the second goal in the final.
He came off the bench for his second appearance since his return and scored twice in the 5-1 win over Middlesbrough in the FA Cup, the second goal a very beautiful backheel worthy of a World Cup winner.
