Ghanaian youngster Yussif Moro Owusu has completed his move to English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.

The teen sensation joins the Seagulls from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

The former Chelsea academy player announced his move on social media following the completion of his switch.

Reports suggest the 16-year-old is seen as a future replacement for Malian midfielder, Yves Bissouma, who left for Tottenham Hotspurs.

Yussif Moro will join the U21's initially and his performances will convince manager Graham Potter to give him a shot at the first team.

He joins compatriot Tariq Lamptey, who is a regular for the first team ahead of the start of the new season in the first week of August.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that fans of the Black Stars of Ghana have taken to social media to express their delight after Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey rejected an England call-up.

The 21-year-old asked the England U21 coach Lee Carsley to excuse him from the international games slated for next month.

And according The Sun, Lee Carsley revealed the right-back has been contacted by the Ghana Football Association is considering a nationality switch.

Brighton manager backs Tariq Lamptey's decision to switch nationality

Brighton and Hove Albion manager, Graham Potter, has revealed that he will support defender Tariq Lamptey regardless of which country he decides to represent at the World Cup.

The Brighton right-back is set to switch nationality and play for Ghana at the World Cup in Qatar later this year despite representing England at youth level.

Potter believes playing in the World Cup is an experience every player, including Lamptey, should experience.
