All is not well at Bayern Munich at the moment, with club captain, Manuel Neuer apparently at loggerheads with the club’s high-ranking officials.
Club director, Hasan Salihamidzic is the latest on the Bavarians' board to criticise Neuer over his recent outburst, where he described the sacking of goalkeeping coach, Toni Tapalovic as the most brutal thing he’s experienced in his career.
According to Goal, Salihamidzic has said he expected a different kind of behaviour from Neuer, owing to the fact he is the club skipper.
"I understand that Manuel is personally affected, but I would have expected a different behavior from him, especially as a captain."

It is unclear if Bayern will take further action against Neuer at this time, as the goalkeeper recuperates from a leg injury that has ruled him out for the remainder of the season.
Khan blasts Neuer for comments
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich CEO, Oliver Khan has also hit back at comments made by the club's captain, criticising the decision to sack Tapalovic, as Eurosport reports.
Khan says Neuer’s statements had come at an inopportune time, when the Bundesliga champions are preparing to face very important games amid the return of the UEFA Champions League.
Tapalovic has been a close friend and confidant of Neuer for over 11 years and had worked with the Germany goalkeeper since he was at FC Schalke 04.

FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported on Neuer brushing off calls to step down, saying he's sure he will return from his injury lay-off to play international football again.
The goalkeeper reportedly told Germany's national coach, Hansi Flick he would come back from the broken leg which ruled him out for the remainder of the season.
Former West Germany goalkeeper, Toni Schumacher called for Neuer to step down to focus on club football, but the Bayern keeper did not seem to pay that any heed.
