FootballBarcelona have suffered yet another major injury setback, after defender Sergi Roberto dislocated his shoulder in Sunday’s 4-0 victory over Athletic Club.
Roberto, who had doubled Barcelona’s lead earlier in the game, had to be stretchered off the pitch in the second half after what looked like a serious injury to the Spanish player, Sports Brief has reported.
Roberto’s chances of making Spain’s World Cup squad for Qatar 2022 seem to be over as well, as the Blaugrana confirmed he is likely to be out until after the global football tournament wraps up.
