The 30-year-old Senegal international neatly controlled a pass from the flanks before driving towards goal as he played an inch-perfect give-and-go with Leon Goretzka to slot the ball at the back of the net.
His goal broke the game's deadlock as Thomas Muller and Goretzka gave the Bavarians their fourth win on the trot in the Champions League, sealing qualification to the next phase of the competition.
