- Bayern Munich's Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidžić recently signed a contract extension with the club
Hasan Salihamidžić has been Bayern Munich’s Sporting Director for the past five years, and it’s easy to see why.
Brazzo, as he is affectionately known, steered the ship through a tough pandemic-hit era and has helped build a strong squad that coach Julian Nagelsmann can use to challenge on all fronts.
However, Salihamidžić is no stranger to criticism. Brazzo most recently came under fire from fans of the club when he was spotted in a nightclub in Mallorca before the new season started.
The Sporting Director was photographed partying in the nightclub, angering the German media and club legend Lothar Matthäus, Bavarian Football Works reported.

However, everything was not as it seemed, and Salihamidžić was conducting business. Brazzo recently revealed that he heard that Mané’s agent would be there and saw it as a great chance to broker a deal for the player.
“That is what you have to do if you want the players. We went to drink something and eat something, and you know how it is. And in the evening, you can dance too — if you get the player,” he explained.
Brazzo’s dancing skills must have impressed as he convinced Mané’s agent to bring the Senegalese superstar to Germany. While he was originally criticised for going to the nightclub, Brazzo is now earning high praise for landing Mané.
He also recently signed a new contract extension at the club which will see him serve as Sporting Director until 2026, Bayern Strikes reported.
