Bayern Munich has three of its youngsters nominated for the 2022 edition of the prestigious Golden Boy award which is given to the best footballer under the age of 21 years.
The list which comprises 60 nominees is selected by journalists from a variety of publications across Europe and was published in the Italian news outlet Tuttosport.
According to SB Nation, Jamal Musiala, Ryan Gravenberch, and Mathys Tel have all been shortlisted for the award which was last won by Barcelona’s star midfielder, Pedri in 2021.

Musiala stands a good chance of winning the 2022 edition as the German striker has started the 2022/23 season is great form, scoring 4 goals in Bayern Munich’s first 3 games of the season.
The 19-year-old will however contend with fellow Bundesliga stars, Jude Bellingham and Karim Adeyemi of arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund who have also been shortlisted for the Golden Boy award.
