Mane’s goal was instrumental to help Bayern Munich secure the Super Cup and the former Liverpool striker also netted in the opening Bundesliga game for the German champions.
According to Bundesliga, Mane’s teammate, Alphonso Davies has now hailed the impact of the 30-year-old forward at the club, describing him as a top player.

"Sadio Mane, you see this guy, he’s a top player. He's hard-working, he's fast, we try to get the ball to him as much as possible because he's a very quick guy. So, yeah, he's a good player, we're happy to have him here.”
Alphonso Davies also revealed he loves playing together with Mane whom he says sometimes can be too humble for his stature as a top footballer.

Meanwhile, Sadio Mane will not be forgotten easily at Anfield after ending his 6-year relationship with Liverpool to join Bayern Munich this summer.
Mane made his love for the Liverpool crew known by giving gifts to all 150 of the club's employee who performs jobs ranging from security guards to tea ladies Daily Mirror reports.
