Oliver Kahn has hailed Senegal forward Sadio Mane for winning the 2022 Africa Player of the Year at the CAF awards held in Morocco last week.
The Bayern Munich forward rejoined his teammates this week after receiving his award at the ceremony held in Rabat.
Following his arrival, Oliver Kahn, who is the Sporting Director of the German champions lauded their summer acquisition for his latest achievement.
"A fitting welcome for Africa's Footballer of the Year! To win this title once is really outstanding. But to win it twice is historic and great. You can be proud of it and we are proud of you, dear Sadio!," wrote Oliver Kahn on Twitter.
