Former Premier League striker, Gabriel Agbonlahor has stirred a bit of controversy as he believes England striker, Harry Kane is better than Robert Lewandowski.
Agbonlahor labelled the Bundesliga as a "Mickey Mouse league" as compared to what is obtainable in the English Premier League.
According to a report via Daily Star, Agbonlahor believes that the level of competition that Kane faces in the English top-flight puts him ahead of Lewandowski.
“I feel that Lewandowski is an outstanding striker. His numbers are crazy but, as we said, he’s playing in the ‘Mickey Mouse’ league.
“Compare that to the Premier League with Harry Kane, how many goals has he scored in the Premier League? Put Harry Kane in that Bayern Munich frontline, how many does he score?”
Lewandowski is considered one of the lethal strikers in world football after dominating the Bundesliga by emerging as its top scorer in six seasons.
No agreement between Lewandowski and Barcelona
Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski might just be playing his football away from the Bundesliga next season as Barcelona has plans of snapping up the striker.
According to Goal, Lewandowski has not yet decided where his future lies despite reports he has agreed to join Barcelona.
