Coutinho has been a peripheral figure in the Barcelona team having seen himself mostly starting from the bench since the arrival of new boss Xavi Hernandes.

The Spanish manager prefers selecting Barcelona’s younger prospects ahead of the 29-year old Brazilian since taking over reigns from Ronald Koeman.

Coutinho who was bought for a massive £145million in 2018 has now accepted he needs to move away from Barcelona if he is to get regular playing time and get picked by the Brazilian national team ahead of the World Cup in Qatar next year.

According to The Sun, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Everton are three clubs to have lodged proposals to Coutinho's agents with Newcastle United also touted to be interested in the services of the Ex-Inter Milan player.

It is understood Coutinho will however prefer a move to the Emirates over every other suitor and Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta has also not hidden his admiration for the troubled Barcelona midfielder.

After spending £150m in the summer, more than any other Prem team, the Gunners are ready to splash the cash again in a bid to return to the European stage.

Alvaro Morata Reportedly Agrees Personal Terms with Barcelona

Earlier Sportsbrief reported Barcelona could land Alvaro Morata in the winter transfer window despite already acquiring Ferran Torres.

The Catalan giants, who are determined to revamp their squad, have already agreed on personal terms with Morata, currently at Juventus on loan from Atletico Madrid.

The deal however is largely dependent on whether Barcelona will be able to raise funds from the sale of other players in the same transfer window.
