Xavi has hailed the quality of Real Madrid after they eliminated Barcelona from the Copa del Rey, following their semi-final second-leg victory at Camp Nou.
Karim Benzema netted a hat-trick as Real Madrid embarrassed Barcelona 4-0 in front of their supporters to progress to the final of the cup competition.
According to Football Espana, Xavi - who had initially tipped Real Madrid as favourites ahead of the game - described Los Blancos as a great team that does not forgive.
“From my point of view it is a tough result, but we have to focus on the League, and there can be no arguments that they are a great team."

Xavi believes La Blaugrana need to learn from their mistakes going forward.
