Former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has been heavily criticized by a streamer following his break-up with music superstar Shakira.

Shakira recently released a diss track which has gone viral as she subtly hit out at Pique and his current girlfriend Clara Chia.

The footballer reacted in jest and poked fun at the lyrics when he announced a partnership with watch brand Casio for his Kings League tournament.

Football Espana reports that Shakira would be unimpressed at her ex’s actions, but she is not the only one upset.

While Pique airs the program Kings League on Twitch, another streamer called out the footballer, as AuronPlay blasted the 35-year-old.

The streamer said:

“It was perfectly predicted what he was going to do: Casio in his hand and a Twingo. Why did so many people get it right?

"Because Pique has a 12-year-old’s mind, so it was clear that he was going to do that. There was no alternative, I said it here and many more people said it.”

Many people loved Pique’s responses to Shakira, but AuronPay certainly wasn’t one of them. Nevertheless, it’s unlikely that his words will stop the retired footballer in the future.

Meanwhile, Gerard Pique's alleged infidelity was reportedly discovered after Shakira noticed a half-eaten jar of jam in their shared refrigerator.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Gerard Pique cosied up to Irina Shayk at a star-studded NBA game at the Accor Arena Bercy in Paris.

Pique, who recently announced his retirement from football, broke up with popstar Shakira in June 2022 after the former Barcelona defender was reportedly caught cheating.

Pique looked in good spirits as he cuddled the supermodel Irina Shayk during the Detroit Pistons' clash against the Chicago Bulls.
