"I saw him play a year ago and have followed his progress at Ajax," Cruyff explained to RAC1 as quoted by sports.es. "But we're not at the point of saying 'Barca want this player,' not at all."
Cruyff explained that Kudus had caught his eye with his displays and goals at the Mundial, while also mentioning the debate on whether the Ghanaian was an advanced midfielder or a forward.
"Right now we cannot sign in January," he continued. "The fair play situation has changed for a cumulation of reasons. It is not a question of if a player goes, it is all solved either. There are different solutions, but we are clear what we want to do if we can sign in January."
Kudus is also on the radar of English giants Liverpool, who have sent scouts to Qatar to watch the player in action at the Mundial.
