Samuel Eto'o believes legendary Arsenal striker Thierry Henry is a bit of hype and Nicolas Anelka was better than the former France forward.
Henry enjoyed a stellar career, winning multiple titles at both club and international level while Anelka had a tumultuous time with France.
However, Eto'o feels the former Real Madrid and Chelsea forward was more talented than Henry.
"I think he was not at the level of Nicolas Anelka. Thierry Henry was good, but I knew players... I preferred other players," said Eto'o, as reported by Foot Mercato.

"In any case, he was not at my level. The luck or the bad luck that I had me, was not to play for France," he added.
"They sold them to us and brought them up to our level."
Eto's spent two seasons with Henry as his teammate at Barcelona, where both alongside Lionel Messi dominated Europe between 2007 to 2009.
But Eto'o left to join Inter Milan in 2010 where he helped the Italian giants to an unprecedented treble.
Meanwhile, Anelka's career was blighted with controversies and at the international stage failed to achieve success with France. He was a member of the disgraceful France team that exited the 2010 World Cup at the group stage.

FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported that Barcelona legend Samuel Eto'o has sensationally claimed that he was operating on a higher level to his former Catalan teammate Thierry Henry.
Eto'o and Henry shared the same dressing room at Camp Nou for one season in 2008/09 , helping the Catalan giants to win the treble under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola.
The duo played instrumental role in Barcelona's exceptional campaign alongside the talents like Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta.
