Barcelona are contemplating signing Real Madrid outcast Marco Asensio when the Spanish winger’s contract runs out by the end of the season.
Asensio has seen his game time reduced drastically at the Santiago Bernabeu this season owing to several injuries and loss of form, prompting the 26-year-old to consider leaving Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are believed not to be interested in renewing the contract of the Spaniard and will let him leave the club when his contract expires in the summer of 2023.

According to Marca, Barcelona are interested in Marco Asensio due to his age, versatility, and overall quality and could sign the Spaniard for free at the end of the season.
Asensio who joined Real Madrid from Real Mallorca in 2015 has scored 50 goals in 239 appearances for the current La Liga champions.
