Earlier, Sports Brief reported Diego Simeone hinted that Antoine Griezmann will continue to come from the bench for Atletico Madrid this season despite backlash from fans.

The Argentine manager has been forced to play the French striker mostly from the bench as Atletico Madrid will be required to pay €40million to Barcelona if Griezmann plays up to 60% of the club’s games this season.
