Ousmane Dembélé is loving playing alongside Robert Lewandowski at FC Barcelona.
The French attacker recently opened up on their relationship and Lewandowski’s reaction when they first met.
As reported by Barca Blaugranes, Dembélé noted the hilarious first words the Polish striker said to him.
“The first time we met, he told me ‘you are going to give me a lot of assists,’ Dembélé explained.

Dembélé added that he already knew Lewandowski from Bayern Munich. Dembélé himself played in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.
He also praised Lewandowski as a person, saying that he was always laughing and talking with everyone.
“There are a lot of younger players here, and he has a lot of experience. He is a leader for the team,” Dembele said
Barcelona hopes Dembélé and Lewandowski will continue the club’s unbeaten start to the season. The Blaugrana have played four games so far, winning three and drawing one.
They will next turn their attention to the UEFA Champions League, where they will face Viktoria Plzen in the opening game of Group C, UEFA confirmed.
Group C also features Bayern Munich and Inter Milan and is considered to be the group of death in the tournament.

Robert Lewandowski took just 45 seconds to score on his birthday for FC Barcelona.
The Polish striker opened the scoring as Barcelona took on Real Sociedad in their second La Liga fixture. The goal came about after Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo was brought down in the box, leading many to believe that a penalty would be given.
The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) didn’t find any fault as Barcelona played on, allowing 18-year-old Alejandro Balde to sprint down the pitch. The youngster found Lewandowski, who finished with his first touch of the ball smartly.
