Speaking after Barca’s comfortable 3-0 victory against Sevilla, coach Xavi admitted described Auba as a ’jewel’ and admitted that he felt bad that the club had sold the player.
‘I feel bad because he helped us a lot. He was an example on and off the pitch,” Xavi said.

Xavi admitted that it was a shame because any club wants those types of players in the squad, but it was also a good opportunity for Auba and the club.
Aubameyang made just 24 appearances for Barca in all competitions but scored an impressive 13 goals during that time.
Following his sale to Chelsea, he took to social media to thank Barcelona and its supporters for their support during his time at the club. He admitted that even though he was only there for six months, it felt like it was six years.
