Spanish giants Barcelona have completed the signing of Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso.
The 31-year-old joined the Catalan giants on a one-year deal with a buyout clause around the region of £43.3m.
The left-back parted ways with Thomas Tuchel's side on deadline day despite having a year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
He had not featured for Chelsea this season as speculations suggest he wants to force a move to Barcelona, with Barcelona manager Xavi said to be a fan of the former Real Madrid academy graduate.

Alonso played for Real Madrid's youth team before joining Bolton Wanderers in 2010 and later switched to Fiorentina three years later.
Despite coming through the academy of the Los Blancos before his move abroad, Alosno's played for Barcelona for four seasons, from 1982-1987.
Since joining Chelsea in 2016, Alosno has played over 200 games for the Stamford Bridge outfit in all competitions.
He has joined Andreas Christensen and Hector Bellerin as defenders to join Catalonia-based club on a free transfer from the Premier League this summer.
Barcelona terminate Martin Braithwaite’s contract
Meanwhile, the career of Danish attacker Martin Braithwaite at Barcelona has ended as he has signed a contract termination with the Blaugrana on Deadline Day SB Nation reports.
Braithwaite’s contract with Barcelona was due to end in 2024 but the forward has decided to end his spell with the Catalans after he was declared surplus to requirement at the Camp Nou.
