The 33-year-old defender has lost his place in Barcelona’s first team and the club is looking to get his huge wage off their books due to the Catalans precarious financial state.
According to Marca, Jordi Alba has no intention of leaving the Catalan giants this summer and will not give his approval for Barcelona to loan him out.

In recent days there have been contacts between Barcelona and Inter in the Blaugrana's bid to reach an agreement for Alba's potential departure.
