Jules Kounde could end up leaving Barcelona without making a competitive appearance for the Catalan club as Barcelona are still to register the French defender for the new campaign.

Barcelona reached an agreement with Sevilla to sign Kounde this summer after a fee of €55 million was paid with the defender penning a contract at Camp Nou until 2027.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Jules Kounde could miss consecutive La Liga games for Barcelona as there are fears the French defender will not be registered on time before the Real Sociedad game.
