- None of Barcelona’s six signings, including Ousmane Dembele nor the renewed Sergi Roberto, have yet been registered with La Liga
- Barcelona are just 24 hours away from their first league match of the season, but stands a chance of not registering their players in time for the La Liga opener
Robert Lewandowski could be set to miss Barcelona’s opening La Liga game against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, August 13, as he is yet to be registered for the league alongside the club’s new players.
The Poland striker joined the Catalans alongside Raphinha, Jules Kounde, Frank Kessie, and Andreas Christensen but all five players, including Ousmane Dembele, are yet to be registered for the new season.
Barcelona still does not have the space in their salary limit to register their additions which means they have not sent any documentation to La Liga for new player registrations.

According to Football Espana, La Liga has now warned the Catalans that if they are not given sufficient time to study Barcelona’s documentation, they will not rush registration through.
There is good news for Barcelona, though, as players can still be registered for the league as late as five minutes before the match.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are still optimistic they can register 4 to 5 players before their La Liga opening game against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, August 13.
Barca Universal reports that club officials have submitted the necessary documentation to La Liga and are confident about completing the registration by Saturday morning.
