Barcelona manager, Xavi is planning on trimming his squad size before the start of the 2022/23 season and has given the club’s hierarchy a list of five players that must be sold this summer.
The Catalan giants have been extremely active in the transfer market and have brought in top-grade players including Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Frank Kessie, and Andreas Christensen.
According to Football Espana, Xavi has now told the club to sell off five fringe players that include Martin Braithwaite, Samuel Umtiti, Oscar Mingueza, Riqui Puig, and Neto.

All five players were left out of Barcelona’s preseason tour of the USA as Xavi hopes the decision will force them to leave Camp Nou this summer.
