Barcelona failed to unveil Robert Lewandowski to the club’s fans on Monday, July 18, as announced by club officials after completing the signing of the forward.
The 33-year-old joined the Blaugrana over the weekend after Barcelona reached an agreement with Bayern Munich and the Poland forward has since completed his medicals with the Spanish giants.
According to Football Espana, Lewandowski was expected to be officially presented as a new Barcelona player in a press conference at 7 pm Spanish time, but the occasion had to be postponed.

Club sources blamed the setback on timing more than anything, but the striker is expected to train with the rest of the Barcelona squad ahead of their preseason friendly against Inter Miami.
