Spanish giants Barcelona are willing to include Memphis Depay in a deal to sign French defender Jules Kounde from Sevilla.
The La Liga powerhouse are keen to add some new reinforcements at the back ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season.
Kounde has been one of Xavi’s top targets this summer as the Barcelona manager considers the French defender as a long-term replacement for Gerard Pique, who has been struggling with injuries in recent seasons.
And according to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero, Barcelona are preparing a swap deal swoop for France international Kounde and would be willing to send Depay to Sevilla to sweeten the deal.

Kounde was on the shortlist of Chelsea too, and had an agreement in principle last summer, before a disagreement arose between Sevilla and the Blues over the transfer fee.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Brazil international Raphinha has landed in Spain to finally complete his long-awaited transfer to Spanish club Barcelona from Leeds United.
The Catalan club announced on Wednesday, July 13, that the 25-year-old is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year deal upon completion of his medical.
In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Raphinha was sighted arriving at the airport and already wearing a Barcelona polo shirt.
