Brazil international Raphinha has landed in Spain to finally complete his long-awaited transfer to Spanish club Barcelona from Leeds United.
The Catalan club announced on Wednesday, July 13, that the 25-year-old is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year deal upon completion of his medical.
In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Raphinha was sighted arriving at the airport and already wearing a Barcelona polo shirt.
English Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea were interested in signing the ex-Rennes star man, but the 25-year-old forward opted to fulfil his childhood dream of playing for Barcelona.
He has already said a quick hello to his new supporters after he arrived in Catalonia.

Leeds United star asks to skip preseason tour
Meanwhile, Raphinha asked the club to omit him from the preseason tour as he seeks to finalize his move away.
Raphinha has been subject to intense transfer speculations, with all pointers indicating he will play for a different club next season.
The Brazilian has attracted interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona. Arsenal are understood to have fallen down the pecking order after failing to match Chelsea's 60 million euros bid.
