As June comes to a close, there are a number of football stars who are set to become free agents, with their contracts fast running down.
Players who are still world class are set to walk away from their current clubs for free, meaning European giants will be alert to capture some talented free transfers this summer.
Perhaps one of the biggest stars to become available for free is Paul Pogba, who left Manchester United and is poised to rejoin his former club Juventus.
Reports from football insider Fabrizio Romano suggest the Frenchman has already agreed a deal in principle, and an official contract is set to be signed in the coming days.

But who are the other valuable players available for free this summer? Sports Brief takes a look at some superstars who will almost certainly attract interest from top clubs.
1. Pogba
After a hyped return to Old Trafford in 2016, Pogba’s career at Manchester United has been underwhelming, and the midfielder decided to walk away for the second time. He is set to rejoin Juventus for free, again.
2. Paulo Dybala
While Pogba is joining Juventus, striker Paulo Dybala is walking away from the club a free agent.
Dybala leaves having won five league titles with Juve, and he is rumoured to be close to joining arch-rivals Inter Milan.
3. Ousmane Dembele
Despite a mega-money move from Borussia Dortmund in 2017, Dembele’s spell with Barcelona has been hampered by consistent injuries.

4. Andreas Christensen

The talented AC Milan man, like Christensen, also opted against signing a new deal with the Rossonerri. He however is set to leave the club having won the Scudetto.
6. Christian Eriksen
The Denmark international’s six-month deal with Brentford is coming to an end, with a number of top clubs interested in his services.
Latest reports suggest Eriksen is pondering whether to stay in London or move to Manchester United.
7. Jesse Lingard
