Barcelona, according to BBC, Barca want an initial loan deal, with the option to buy at the end of the season.

Traore’s move to Spain ultimately ends Tottenham’s pursuit, as the North London club were initial frontrunners to acquire the strong and pacey winger.

Tottenham had a £15m bid for Traore rejected last week, although sources within the club refuted the claims.

The winger only has 18 months left on his current deal with Wolves and talks over a new contract has stalled.

He is no stranger to Barcelona, as he left the club in 2015 to join Aston Villa before eventually settling at Middlesbrough.

After two years at Middlesbrough, Traore joined Wolves in 2018 for a then club-record £18m.

At Wolves, Traore has made 154 appearances, scoring 11 goals.

One of his most distinct attributes as a player is his strength, as he has a robust build for a footballer.

His strength, coupled with his pace, has made him a nightmare for defences in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Wolves are yet to bolster their squad further after acquiring Chiquinho from Portuguese club Estoril last week.

Ousmane Dembele saga

In other transfer news, Paris Saint Germain is another possible destination for embattled Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, if his agent’s recent phone call is anything to go by.

Dembele’s agent Moussa Sissoko, was pictured receiving a call from Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonard recently amid growing transfer speculation about the winger’s next destination.

Having told Dembele that he needed to leave the club as soon as possible, Barcelona were hit with a legal warning on the same day.

Xavi went on to issue Dembele an ultimatum – to either commit to the club or be sold before the close of the January transfer window.
