Football fans can design their own Bafana or Banyana kit, and submit the design to the manufacturer. The winning entry will then be used to make the 2023 South African national team kits.

The company have marketed the unique initiative as “designed by you, decided by you, for you.”

Entries close on 31 August 2022 and can be submitted to marketing@lcs.co.za.

The new kit will be worn at all Bafana and Banyana’s games next year and could feature at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Bafana start their quest to qualify for AFCON 2023 with a visit with a game against Morocco on Thursday, IOL confirmed. Bafana are drawn in Group K alongside Morocco and Liberia in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Zimbabwe were also in the group but were earlier disqualified from participating by CAF.

Hugo Broos tells Bafana Bafana to believe in miracles ahead of crunch 2023 AFCON qualifier against Morocco

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos insists that his charges must show belief and not fear as they take on Morocco next Thursday in North Africa trying to qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast.

The two nations are part of a decreased Group K after Zimbabwe had to be withdrawn.

Broos said that the players should not be intimidated by the daunting prospect of kicking off their campaign away in Rabat against Africa's second-ranked side, which also qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Bafana Bafana 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers group rivals Zimbabwe and officially disqualified by CAF

South Africa's path to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be hosted in the Ivory Coast will have one less opponent to get past.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed that Zimbabwe and Kenya were disqualified from the qualifying phase to get to West Africa in June and July next year.

The Warriors were drawn alongside neighbours Bafana Bafana, Morocco and Liberia in what would have proved a wide-open Group K. However, the group will be reduced to three now, with the top two teams still qualifying for the finals.
