Richard Boadu has alleged that some Ghana Premier League clubs manufactured goals for Ashantigold SC forward, Yaw Annor.
Annor finished the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League as the top scorer with an eyewatering 22 goals.
He thus equalled a long-standing record set by former Hearts of Oak striker Ishmael Addo in the 2000/01 season.

FootballHowever, Boadu in an interview stated emphatically that Annor's goals were fixed by some Premier League clubs.
“For Yaw Annor, I'll say some of the Ghana Premier League clubs played soft with AshantiGold SC for him to score,” Boadu told Kumasi-based radio station Wontumi FM, quoted by footballghana.
“I'm telling you the truth, some Premier League clubs played soft games with AshantiGold SC for him [Yaw Annor] to score to increase his goal tally," he added.
“There were some goals which you could see that the goals were manufactured” he added.
Meanwhile, Yaw Annor was ranked joint 7th on the illustrious list alongside Brazilian attacker Hulk and RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku.
Annor was ranked in the top 10 goal scorers in 2022, ahead of Frenchman Wissam Ben Yedder and Real Madrid Academy graduate, Pablo Sarabia.
