Reiss Nelson inspires Arsenal comeback

However, the hosts staged a thrilling comeback to secure a 3-2 victory, with Reiss Nelson, who came off the bench, playing a major role in the fightback.

With Arsenal two goals down, Thomas Partey drew his side level in the 62nd minute before Ben White made it 2-2 eight minutes later.

The match looked set to end in a draw when Nelson netted a last gasp winner for the Gunners to ensure his side maintains a five-point advantage over Man City.

Cesc Fabregas' reaction

Fabregas wasted no time to share his reaction to Arsenal's comeback victory over the Cherries.

The former Cherries skipper took to Twitter to share his reaction, adding a clapping emoji to his tweet.

Fabregas spent close to nine years at the Emirates Stadium between 2003 and 2011, when he left for Barcelona.

The former Spain international made over 200 appearances for the north Londoners, winning the FA Cup with them.

Arteta praises Thomas Partey

Sports Brief earlier reported that Thomas Partey has been praised by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta after coming off the bench to help the Gunners cruise to a thumping win against Everton.

The Ghana international replaced Jorginho after 45 minutes with Arsenal leading 2-0 at the Emirates.

However, they were not entirely convincing as Everton missed the chances that came their way.
