Arsenal fans were treated to a beautiful sight when legendary Head Coach Arsene Wenger returned to the Emirates for the first time since his exit.
The Gunners were hosting West Ham in a London Derby as the first round of Premier League fixtures kicked off on Boxing day.
Wenger, who left Arsenal in 2018, served as the head coach for 22 years before calling it a day. He was among the crowd as Arsenal staged a second-half comeback to beat their opponents 3-1.

Said Benrahma had opened the scoring via the penalty spot, but Bukayo Saka restored parity in the second half. Further goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah ensured Arsenal opened a seven-point gap at the top of the Premier League.
Speaking after the game Mikel Arteta expressed his happiness about Wenger being among the fans.
"Arsene picked the right moment. I thought the performance today was at the level he deserved. The players didn’t know. It was a special day, so thank you so much Arsene for coming. Walking through the stadium he’s going to feel what everyone thinks of him…he’s been such an influence," as quoted by Daily Mail.
Wenger now works for FIFA as the head of global football development.
