Arsenal fans have bemoaned the absence of Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey following their disappointing defeat to Newcastle United on Monday night.
The Gunners suffered a huge setback in their quest to qualify for the Champions League when they lost 2-0 to the Magpies at the St. James' Park.
Ben White scored an own goal as Bruno Guimaraes added a second one to condemn Arsenal to a second successive loss.
The result means Arsenal must beat Everton in their final game of the season on Sunday and hope Tottenham lose at relegated Norwich.

Season ended when we lost Tierney and Partey. Elneny and Nketiah are great guys and they’ve really tried, bravo. But the next level up is a jump. We are 5th and in my opinion deserve to be there.

With uncertainty surrounding his recovery date, a data injury analyst Ben Dinnery predicted the Ghana international might be fit for Arsenal's north London derby against Tottenham Hotspurs.
