Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira has chalked up another milestone years after hanging his football boots to delve into coaching.
The 45-year-old retired footballer together with Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney received the highest individual honour awarded to players who have excelled in the Premier League.
Vieira, who currently coaches Premier League club Crystal Palace, joined Arsenal in 1996 after a disappointing stint in Italy and went on to etch himself in the folklore of English football.

His box-to-box credentials made him a dominant force in the middle of the park for Arsenal, making the Gunners a formidable opposition in the Premier League.
He went on to clinch three Premier League titles, including leading Arsenal to an unprecedented Invincible campaign in the 2002/03 season.
The former French international scored 31 goals and provided 34 assists in 307 Premier League appearances for Arsenal and Manchester City.
