Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has named his father as the one who helped him terminate his contract at Premier League side Arsenal before he made a big move to Barcelona in January.
Things fell apart for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal in December last year when he was stripped of captaincy at the Emirates stadium and also missed some matches.
The former Dortmund striker then traveled with the Gabonese national team to Cameroon for the 2021 African Cup of Nations crashing out in the Group stage.
And after the competition, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did not return to Arsenal and announcement of him joining Barcelona was made days later.
According to the report on Football London and Mirror, Aubameyang explained that his father did every work for him to land at Barcelona where he recently scored hat-trick against Valencia.

"My father did it all with my lawyer and they can say it best.
"But the week before we already knew that he could end up signing for Barca. The week before there were already contacts and I knew it."
