Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew has thanked Qatari champions Al Sadd for his season-and-a-half stay at the club.
The Ghana international mutually agreed to terminate his contract with the Wolves on January 29 this year.
In a statement posted on social media, the 33-year-old expressed gratitude as he wished his former club the best in the future.
"Big thanks to Al Saad FC, the coaches who believed in me at Al Saad FC, especially Xavi who brought me here, and to all my teammates. I also want to thank the amazing fans for the massive support all these years," he wrote.

Ayew described serving the club as a great and humbling experience, saying the trophies won and the impact made was based on hard work.
"I count myself fortunate to have been part of the club’s rich history. We won: the Qatar Stars League, the Qatar FA Cup (Emir Cup). 39 Games, 22 Goals in all competitions."
He concluded: "I wish Al Saad FC all the best. The club will always have a special place in my heart."
Meanwhile, the club confirmed parting ways with the attacking midfielder via their official social media handle:
"Officially: the agreement between the club and player Andre Ayew to terminate the contract between the two parties by mutual consent. Thanks Andre," wrote the club.
Ayew joined Al Sadd after leaving Swansea City in 2021 and became a key figure during Xavi's time as coach of the club.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on captain of the senior national team of Ghana, Ayew spending time with Stonebwoy in Qatar.
The multiple-award winning Ghanaian musician thrilled fans at the Fan Festival in Doha as the World Cup came to an end.
Ayew, who had plied his trade at Al Sadd, returned to Qatar after a break in Ghana to begin preparations ahead of the return of the Stars League.
